8. Advertising and measurement
Degusty invests in advertising to make the application known. To know which ads work and not waste that investment, we share a limited set of events with our advertising partner: the installation of the application, its opening, the registration of a new account and the viewing of content, together with the device’s advertising identifier and an internal identifier of your account.
Our current advertising partner is Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). We do not share with it the content you publish, your reviews, comments, messages, search terms, location or contact details.
On iOS this measurement only happens if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog we show inside the application. If you decline, we do not use your device’s advertising identifier. You can change your decision at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising identifier from Settings → Google → Ads.
We do not show third-party ads inside Degusty and we do not sell your personal data.
